Insurance eClaims System

We developed a digital platform for AYA Life Insurance to streamline the claims submission and processing workflow. The system allows policyholders to submit claims online, track their status, and receive payments electronically.

The claims process can be stressful for policyholders, so we focused on creating a user-friendly interface that guides them through each step. We conducted user research to understand common pain points and designed a simple, intuitive form for submitting claims. The system also includes a dashboard for policyholders to track their claims and payments.

The platform is built using Next.js for the frontend to provide a fast and responsive user experience. The backend is powered by Django, a Python web framework, to handle complex business logic and data processing. We use PostgreSQL for data storage and integrate with third-party payment gateways for electronic fund transfers.

Different types of insurance claims require specific documentation and validation processes. We implemented a dynamic form builder that adapts based on the type of claim being submitted, ensuring policyholders provide all necessary information. The system also includes automated notifications and reminders to keep policyholders informed of their claim status.

We were able to move the entire claims process online, reducing the time to process claims by 50% and improving customer satisfaction. Policyholders now have full visibility into their claims status and receive payments faster than before.
